In 2015 the government introduced new legislation for the collection, transport, recovery, and disposal of waste. This requires all collection authorities to separate recyclates into mixed recycling. The overall aim of this is legislation is to help the United Kingdom achieve a higher level of recycling.
Acceptable Materials: cardboard, paper, magazines, plastics, tins, cans and plastic bottles can be placed into our mixed recycling to aid your business’s recycling scheme.
Collection Methods: containers are picked up by dustcarts, skips or RoRos vehicles, or if you are in a listed building or on a busy high street where bin containers are not permitted we can supply you with bags which you can order online and get collected in a similar way to the containers.
Container Options: depending on your business needs we can recommend a container that you will regularly fill, we will then collect your waste and provide you with a new container on an agreed schedule at an arranged time.
It is very important your recycling isn’t contaminated by waste, such as food or liquid left in its packaging as this cannot be recycled.
Ellgia Recycling can collect your Dry Mixed Recycling in a number of different container options and these are the sizes available. Litre should be litre and Metre should be metre.
