Lincolnshire County Council chooses Ellgia for pioneering waste solution

We're thrilled to announce that we’ve been awarded a five-year contract by Lincolnshire County Council, commencing on April 1, 2024, to provide haulage for waste and recycling materials from the county's household waste recycling centres (HWRCs).

This partnership, valued at £550,000 per annum, marks a collaborative effort towards enhancing the region's recycling capabilities and furthering our sustainability objectives. With operations spanning five key HWRC sites managed by Environmental Waste Controls Ltd., we're looking forward to providing waste management services for the people of Lincolnshire.

Jack Lavington, our Managing Director, shares our enthusiasm:

"This partnership not only strengthens our presence across the East of England but also reinforces our dedication to supporting the communities we serve. We're eager to continue providing unparalleled service and to contribute significantly towards Lincolnshire's green economy."

Echoing our excitement, Mike Reed, Lincolnshire County Council's Head of Waste, highlighted the efficiency and reliability that Ellgia brings to the table, ensuring the council's objectives for recycling and waste management are met with excellence.
