Ellgia – Covid 19

Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic,  we would like to inform all of our staff and customers that we will be following the Government’s advice on how to minimise the impact of the virus and any potential risk to our staff and customers. This is an unprecedented global phenomenon, and nobody fully understands the full extent or the timeframe of the current crisis.

As a business operating in the service sector, we will continue to operate to the best of our capabilities, however, there may be some disruption to our service provision as the situation evolves and advice and stipulations from government change and develop.

In line with the current public advice in relation to hygiene and non-essential contact, the Board of Ellgia has issued the following directive:

With immediate effect, there will be NO unscheduled visits to the site until further notice.  Any pre-arranged visits will be postponed and rescheduled once the position of the pandemic becomes clearer.

All drivers will self-sign for collections and shall minimise contact with customers until further notice.

We would ask our customers to support our endeavours by ensuring our collection teams have access to waste containers without the need to have direct contact with customers wherever possible.

Conclusion

We will continue to monitor all information provided by the Government and health experts and will update our staff and customers if any further changes are required.

I would like to thank all our customers for your continued support during this challenging period and assure you that any alterations to your collection service will be communicated to you in a timely manner.
